Dear Avi,
Just wanted to let you know that last week I made a video presentation of my trip to Eretz Yisroel to our Shul. The video was edited down to approximately 20 minutes, but the presentation took almost 2 hours. Everyone was asking so many questions and were genuinely concerned with the situation that our brothers and sisters are going through in Eretz Yisroel. I touched upon the tragedy of the Biton, Amitai, Leiberman and Paskoz families. By the time we were through there was not a dry eye in the crowd. One of the people who came was so inspired by what she saw that she undertook the responsibility to write up my trip and submit it to as many Jewish publications as possible. The one thing unique about my trip is that our whole Shul contributed a small amount of money so that one person, drawn by raffle, could represent our Shul in this great mission. She chose to publicize this point in hope that other communities and organizations will take our cue and set up their our trip within their communities. I am listed as a contact person. Who knows, maybe I will be able to arrange a tour of many people from all over the United States to go to Eretz Yisroel ?! If I do, you can be assured that I will be in touch with you to help plan/guide this tour! You were unbelievable - the greatest! Your guiding was tremendous, your grasp of every subject regarding the Tanach, Israel, the Middle East, politics, archaeology, history, military strategy, geography is just plain awesome, but above all the deep relationships that you were able to form with everyone in such a short time speaks encyclopedic volumes of your love of people, the Land of Israel, Torah and G-d. At a time when so many tourists - especially Jews - have unfortunately stayed away because of security fears - you provided us with security and the sense of security wherever we went. I hope all is well with you and your family. We look forward to continuing and strengthening the friendship that began in Israel with you. You made us feel a part of your family and a part of Israel. We appreciate your family, political and parsha emails keeping us informed on every point. My wife and I read with tears, the arutz-7 daily report of how the Arab terrorists are continuing their daily acts of cruelty and hate. I can now after our special tours picture many of the junctions and bypass roads that these reports refer to. May Hashem bring an end to this galus and bring our geulah speedily in our days.
